City Building Campaign &
The Calgary Plan Document
The City of Calgary required a visual style for their City Building document and the surrounding communications and advertisements.Â
I worked with Britny Samuelson from Evans Hunt to help develop a collage style visual treatment that allowed us to showcase many important subjects at one time.
This graphic treatment was applied to digital and animated ads, in addition to the PDF plan itself.

Collages to represent diverse problems
A more cropped in photo portrait iteration of the collages was used to push specific topics in advertising. The diversity and variety of images behind the central figures helped to symbolize the many directions and thoughts for consideration around these topics.
Plan document layout and styling
The design direction from the campaigns was carried in to the layout of the plan document. I helped design the template layouts, graphic elements, and a large chuck of the unique pages of the document.
